 A E R O – anything
connected with open air; a constant reminder about the most important thing for every being in the world which knows no limits, is the reason of the existence of music, and something we can not love, dream and create without… To understand us, just exhale and catch your breath. In several seconds you will stop thinking of money… food… water… Of anything except the AIR … “A E R O” is a Russian Anglophone rock band formed in 2006, consisting of 5 men and experienced in playing any kind of live gigs. The band develops its own direction in today’s rock music – AEROCK. It’s a mixture of rock, classic, ethnic, western and oriental music. The musicians participated in combined gigs with known European projects such as Kante, Plastic people of the Universe, Agave9, D.Bilan and others. The songs of “AERO” are in often rotation of Celebrate radio & Shine 365 (US, De, Ita), Radio Roks (St.Petersburg), Randevu etc. In November 2007, for a month of rotation (Roks) the band’s songs got more than 36000 sms’s and e-mails. On the 9th of March 2008, “AERO” brightly performed their song named “Siberia” on a live concert of the final Russian Eurovision contest (“RTR planet” channel). We have a documentary about the band “The singer, his dream and his band” directed by K.Bareman, a postgraduate of the University of Manchester (Granada centre for visual anthropology).
